  • Leads, plans and manages the delivery of business technology initiatives for the enterprise
  • Adheres to Project Management Framework, Tools, Processes and Reporting principles.
  • Ensures Project Schedule with Deliverables, Milestones and Phase Dates is agreed and signed off.
  • Ensures appropriate Governance frameworks and accountabilities are defined and actively in place, and align to the Business Project Governance.
  • Ensures commercial risk management is actively practised in delivery of projects.
  • Ensures a collaborative focus on building quality outputs.
  • Participates in in-flight reviews and health checks of projects and makes solid recommendations for actions. Follows up on implementation improvements.
  • Critically analyses lessons learned and socialise into appropriate forums for sharing the lessons.
  • Provides leadership, expertise and guidance to key stakeholders in project managing delivery of business technology initiatives.
  • Maintains awareness of current Information Security standards and ensures all activities comply with the standards.
  • Maintains awareness of current and emerging technologies and architectural standards and ensures all activities comply with the Group Technology Strategy.
  • Demonstrates sufficient consideration of customer needs and customer experience targets, as driven by business requirements.
  • Provides input into the development of relevant budgets and forecasts.
  • Prepares a monthly reconciliation of actual project costs to planned costs and forecast the Estimate To Complete the project using a bottom up planning method.
  • Accountable for effective management of resources to ensure financial targets are met.
  • Required to review monthly financial reports and take remedial action where required.
  • Provides leadership and direction to all direct reports, investing in the development and growth of key talent individuals.
  • Fosters and encourages positive people management strategies.
