About the job:

As a Quality Analyst, you understand that quality is so much more than just testing. You believe everyone in the team has a role to play when it comes to the quality that is delivered to customers, and you collaborate closely with others to enable this.

Risk-based testing and automation is what you live and breathe. You understand that what not to test is equally as important as what you do test, and you are comfortable making judgement calls on this.

Manual testing will be one aspect of this role, but your passion for automation will ensure we are continuously building toward a better future, developing and updating our test automation frameworks to release better products, and at the same time continuously improve the value of your team.

 

Accountabilities:

  • Asking the right questions of your team to ensure you understand risk and can apply a risk-based approach to your test planning. Being hyper-aware of risk, you will proactively call out to the team as challenges arise that may need others’ input.
  • Improving our automation test suite
  • Maintains an understanding of relevant industry trends and current knowledge of the technology deployed in the business area.
  • A range of types of testing: functional, integration, end-to-end, regression and performance testing, exploratory, acceptance, security, stress and volume tests, and scheduled disaster recovery
  • Data seeding
  • Ensure traceability of test cases, including execution and metrics, back to business requirements using the approved tools. Ensures compliance with all change control procedures, full version control and configuration management.
  • Ensure testing activities are performed in accordance with established policies, processes and procedures.
  • Contributes to the assessment of overall test plan success or failure, including verifying entry and exit criteria have been met.
  • Encourages a culture of continuous process improvement and exploits opportunities to improve operational efficiency.
  • Maintains awareness of current Information Security standards and ensures all activities comply with the standards.
  • Demonstrates appropriate consideration of customer needs and customer experience targets. Builds effective working relationships with other Technology teams.
  • Ensures adherence to IT operating policies and procedures.
