This role is responsible for planning, implementing and supporting data masking and test data management processes across enterprise non-production environments, ensuring compliance with security, governance and operational standards.
You will work closely with application teams, infrastructure, security, testing and data stakeholders to deliver secure, stable and scalable data management solutions across major transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build and maintain enterprise data masking processes and procedures across non-production environments
- Profile and analyse application data to identify sensitive information and define masking requirements
- Develop and maintain SQL, PL/SQL and scripting solutions to support test data management activities
- Coordinate environment refreshes and data masking activities across multiple technology teams
- Manage and support test data delivery schedules, issue resolution and environment stability
- Investigate and resolve masked data defects and perform root cause analysis with technical teams
- Perform environment health checks and maintain scripts following infrastructure or application patching
- Support planning, build, configuration and operational management of test data environments
- Ensure adherence to enterprise security, governance, incident and change management processes
- Provide regular reporting, documentation and stakeholder updates relating to TDM services and activities
- Work with vendors and internal infrastructure teams to maintain and enhance TDM platforms and tooling
Required Experience
- Experience in data management, test data management or data masking environments
- Strong SQL and PL/SQL development experience
- Hands-on experience with Oracle and MS SQL databases including schema creation and data management
- Experience working with Linux and Windows operating systems and command line tools
- Strong troubleshooting, root cause analysis and incident management capability
- Experience supporting enterprise non-production environments across the SDLC
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities and coordinate technical stakeholders
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills across technical and business teams
Technical Environment
Experience with some or all of the following technologies is highly regarded:
- ETL tools including IBM Information Server, Informatica, SAP DS or similar
- Oracle DB, MS SQL, PostgreSQL, RedShift, BigQuery
- Python, PowerShell, Bash, Jenkins, GitHub
- AWS, Azure or GCP platforms
- WebLogic, Tomcat, J2EE, WebSphere
- Tibco BW, Tibco EMS
- SAP applications including CRM, ERP, SCM, PI or PO
- Microsoft technologies including IIS, .NET, Active Directory and SCCM
- Networking technologies including TCP/IP, SSH, SFTP, routing and firewalls
- ServiceNow, Jira, Confluence, Wiki and SharePoint
