We are seeking an experienced Security Architect to provide technical leadership and architectural guidance across large scale, complex enterprise environments. This role offers the opportunity to influence strategic decisions, uplift security practices, and work across the full project lifecycle.
About the Role
As a Security Architect, you will:
- Partner with project and solution architects to deliver secure, scalable, and effective solutions.
- Provide expert advice on security requirements, frameworks, and methodologies to address evolving threats and risks.
- Contribute to solution architecture deliverables, from preliminary design through to technical assurance during delivery.
- Engage stakeholders to shape security scope, assess risks, and embed secure practices into business platforms.
- Develop and maintain security patterns, ensuring alignment with industry standards and enterprise architecture strategies.
- Support governance forums with clear communication of design decisions, risks, and issues.
What You’ll Bring
- Experience in development, architecture, and consulting with proven success on major projects.
- Expertise in security architecture, delivering large, distributed applications and security solutions.
- Strong hands-on technical expertise across identity and access management, vulnerability management, key management, network security, and cyber defence.
- Knowledge of ISO 27001, NIST, CPS234, ACSC Essential 8, ISM and PSPF frameworks.
- Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
- CISSP, SABSA, or equivalent certifications highly regarded.
