Data Migration Manager

We’re seeking an experienced Data Migration Manager to take ownership of a critical workstream within a large scale ERP transformation. This role will lead the end-to-end data migration process, ensuring business critical data is successfully transitioned from multiple source systems into a single future state platform.

Working across multiple stakeholders, vendors, and organisations coming together through acquisition, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring data quality, business readiness, and a seamless cutover.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the end-to-end data migration workstream for a SAP to D365 ERP transformation.
  • Develop and own the migration strategy, including data mapping, validation, quality assurance, reconciliation, and cutover readiness.
  • Coordinate multiple data sources and migration cycles, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and repeatability across successive data loads.
  • Partner with business stakeholders, technical teams, vendors, and project leadership to drive successful outcomes.
  • Establish governance, reporting, and controls that provide transparency and confidence in migration progress and data quality.
  • Manage business validation activities, ensuring stakeholders can confidently review, approve, and sign off migrated data.
  • Identify and mitigate migration risks while ensuring business continuity during cutover.
  • Provide clear and concise status reporting to project leadership and steering committees.

 

About You

  • Proven experience leading data migration workstreams within ERP transformation programs.
  • Strong understanding of data migration methodologies, data quality, validation, reconciliation, and governance.
  • Experience working on SAP and/or Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) implementations.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders across business and technology teams.
  • Strong communication and reporting capabilities.
  • Experience coordinating vendors and third-party partners.
  • A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to work independently and take ownership of outcomes.
  • Experience supporting acquisitions, integrations, or large-scale organisational change will be highly regarded.
