We are seeking an experienced Identity Engineer. This is a hands-on, subject matter expert role responsible for designing, delivering enhancements to, and supporting the daily operations of the workforce identity providers and supporting technologies. You will play a key part in ensuring the stable, secure, and reliable operation of platforms that enable critical business services, while contributing to a culture of continuous improvement and service excellence.

About the role
Reporting to the Manager of Identity Engineering, you will be responsible for the operation, enhancement and support of critical workforce identity provider platforms, including Active Directory, Entra ID and Silverfort. You will:
 

  • Support and enhance critical workforce identity platforms including Active Directory, Entra ID and associated services, participating equally in a 24×7 on-call roster
  • Demonstrate technical thought leadership in delivery and service optimisation, maintaining a continuous improvement mindset
  • Provide expert technical consulting to mature identity operations and deliver robust work products aligned to design standards, patterns and identity strategy
  • Maintain awareness of internal and external compliance obligations and drive platform compliance
  • Act as a trusted point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, including vendor partners
  • Build and nurture high-value relationships across cross-enterprise teams and external organisations
  • Contribute to a culture of safety, wellbeing, and customer-first thinking

About you
 

  • Extensive delivery and support experience across Active Directory, Entra ID and supporting technologies within a medium to large enterprise
  • Desirable experience administering Silverfort
  • Demonstrated experience managing and governing enterprise workforce identity environments in line with security best practice
  • Strong knowledge of Identity and Access Management protocols and standards (OIDC, SAML, OAuth, FIDO2, NTLM, Kerberos, LDAP)
  • Extensive scripting experience in PowerShell, JavaScript and Python
  • Experience with multi-cloud environments, version control and CI/CD tooling
  • Desirable experience with SailPoint, CyberArk, Auth0 and/or enterprise testing tools such as PractiTest
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to build high-value stakeholder relationships
