We’re seeking an experienced Project Release Manager to take ownership of planning, coordinating and delivering complex releases across a large-scale enterprise environment.
This is a highly visible role where you’ll be responsible for ensuring releases are delivered on schedule, meet quality standards and minimise disruption to business operations.
About the Role
Working closely with project managers, business leaders, technical teams and vendors, you’ll lead the release lifecycle from planning and readiness assessments through to deployment and post-release review. You’ll be the central point of coordination, ensuring risks, dependencies and governance requirements are effectively managed.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end release planning, scheduling and coordination
- Develop release runbooks and deployment plans
- Lead release governance and readiness assessments
- Coordinate stakeholders across multiple projects and workstreams
- Manage release risks, issues, dependencies and escalations
- Ensure compliance with change management and CAB processes
- Coordinate deployment activities and post-release reviews
- Drive continuous improvement across release management practices
What You’ll Bring
- Strong experience in Release Management, Project Delivery, Change Management or Technology Operations
- Experience managing complex enterprise technology releases
- Knowledge of Agile, Waterfall and hybrid delivery methodologies
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Strong risk management and problem-solving capabilities
- Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and competing priorities
Desirable Experience
- Enterprise technology, infrastructure or digital transformation environments
- ITSM practices and processes
- Jira, ServiceNow, Microsoft Project or similar tools
- DevOps and CI/CD delivery practices
- PRINCE2, PMP, ITIL or Agile certifications
