We are seeking an experienced ISO 27001 Lead Auditor to lead our client through the final stages of achieving ISO 27001:2022 certification with BSI.
Working closely with key business and technology stakeholders, you will assess their current state, identify and remediate gaps, enhance existing documentation and processes, and ensure their Information Security Management System (ISMS) is fully aligned to the ISO 27001:2022 standard and ready for certification.
Key Skills & Responsibilities
- Proven experience successfully delivering ISO 27001 certification outcomes, ideally through BSI or a similar accredited certification body.
- Certified ISO 27001 Lead Auditor.
- Strong working knowledge of ISO 27001:2022 and Information Security Management Systems (ISMS).
- Conduct a detailed review of the current ISMS against ISO 27001:2022 requirements.
- Perform gap assessments and develop remediation plans to address non-conformities.
- Review, update, and enhance policies, procedures, standards, and supporting evidence.
- Ensure organisational controls are aligned with ISO 27001:2022 requirements and Annex A controls.
- Coordinate certification readiness activities across business and technology teams.
- Lead internal audits and preparedness reviews.
- Assist stakeholders in gathering and maintaining audit evidence.
- Track and manage corrective actions arising from internal and external audits.
- Provide expert guidance on ISO 27001 best practices and continual improvement activities.
- Report progress, risks, and certification readiness to senior leadership.
