We are seeking a Master Scheduler to play a key role in delivering a large-scale initiative within a complex enterprise environment. In this role, you will oversee end-to-end scheduling, ensuring alignment with enterprise priorities to support informed decision-making. You will be responsible for managing interdependencies, maintaining schedule integrity, and providing confident, on-time delivery outcomes.

About the role:

You will partner closely with the program team to establish and maintain a single source of truth for scheduling. This role drives schedule discipline, proactively identifies risks and impacts, and surfaces optimisation opportunities across the broader delivery landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain and govern the enterprise?level master schedule, integrating schedules across portfolios, programs and delivery teams.
  • Ensure alignment between strategic milestones, funding profiles, delivery plans and operational dependencies.
  • Maintain schedule baselines and manage controlled changes in line with governance requirements.
  • Provide critical path, dependency and scenario analysis to support informed decision?making.
  • Identify schedule risks, constraints and interdependencies, proactively escalating impacts and mitigation options.
  • Monitor schedule performance, trends and variances, ensuring accuracy and consistency across all reporting.
  • Partner with Portfolio Managers, Program Managers, Product Owners and Delivery Leads to embed consistent scheduling practices.
  • Facilitate schedule reviews, planning cycles and cross?portfolio dependency forums.
  • Produce high?quality schedule insights, dashboards and executive?level reporting.
  • Support portfolio governance forums by providing clear, evidence?based schedule information.
  • Ensure compliance with enterprise delivery frameworks, controls and audit requirements.
  • Develop scheduling standards, governance and planning conventions aligned with enterprise frameworks, controls and audit requirements to enable consistent delivery management with accurate insights and look ahead views.
  • Identify schedule impacts, slippage, sequencing conflicts and emerging risks early.

About You:

  • Extensive experience creating and managing integrated master schedules in portfolio, program and enterprise?level scheduling in complex environments.
  • Strong understanding of integrated planning, dependency management, milestone tracking, schedule forecasting and critical path analysis.
  • Proven experience establishing schedule structures and delivery planning disciplines in complex or low-maturity environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and translate complex delivery information into clear decision-ready insights to inform effective and timely decision making.
  • Advanced capability in scheduling and planning tools (MS Project demonstrated experience).
  • Experience coaching and uplifting team capability in scheduling and planning practices aligned with enterprise delivery standards.
