We are seeking an experienced Security Architect to provide strategic security leadership across enterprise technology programs and initiatives within a complex, large-scale environment. This role will play a key part in shaping secure technology outcomes, influencing solution design and ensuring security is embedded throughout the project lifecycle.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide security architecture guidance across multiple business and technology projects
- Assess security risks, threats and compliance requirements during solution design
- Develop security patterns, frameworks and architectural recommendations
- Contribute to solution architecture, governance and technical design reviews
- Present architecture decisions, risks and recommendations to governance forums
- Partner with business stakeholders, architects and delivery teams to achieve secure outcomes
- Support continuous improvement of enterprise security capabilities and practices
About you:
- Extensive experience in information security architecture within large enterprise environments
- Strong knowledge of security frameworks including ISO 27001, NIST and CPS 234
- Experience across identity and access management, network security, cyber defence, vulnerability management and enterprise security controls
- Strong understanding of security risk assessment and threat modelling
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business outcomes
- Relevant security certifications such as CISSP, SABSA or equivalent highly regarded
