About the role
We’re seeking a Senior SAP Basis Platform Specialist to manage and evolve SAP platforms supporting high volume, highly integrated business services. This is a hands on senior role where you’ll plan and execute platform changes, ensure stability and security, and partner closely with cross functional technology and business teams.
You’ll play a key role in keeping SAP environments reliable, compliant and future ready, while contributing to continuous improvement and major transformation initiatives.
Key responsibilities
- Support, configure and maintain SAP platforms, including S/4HANA, NetWeaver, SAP Java and related components
- Lead and support RISE with SAP initiatives, including readiness assessments, cutovers and upgrades
- Administer and monitor SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) environments
- Manage SAP upgrades, patches and changes with minimal disruption
- Ensure platforms meet security, audit and regulatory requirements
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery and backup strategies
- Produce clear technical documentation and operational dashboards
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to deliver outcomes on time and on budget
About you
- 10+ years’ experience supporting SAP platforms in large, complex enterprise environments
- Strong experience across on premise SAP and SAP Cloud technologies
- Proven leadership and influence within SAP technical teams
- Hands?on expertise with BTP, SAP Cloud services and large integration landscapes
- Comfortable operating in high change, high availability environments
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage technical and non?technical stakeholders
